Clear Lake is the most important and dominant geographical feature of the Clear Lake CountryClub's properties.The crystal clear water flowing from the subterranean chambers of the Snake River Plain Aquifer, provides ideal conditions for the propagation of trout. A Water flow of 500 cubic feet persecond allows the adjacent hatcheries to efficiently produce Rainbow Trout and provides quality fly fishing.The record Rainbow Trout caught from Clear Lake weighs 17 Ibs. 12 oz. Water from the lake also serves to irrigate the golf course and to generate electricity by the ldaho Power Company at its Clear Lake Plant.
